Server overheat can cause astable work, and even high-cost hardware failure. You have to use high-cost industrial air conditioners to avoid this. Their cost, electric power charge, cost of operation are high. You may significantly decrease cooling expences using virtualization. For exmaple, you have to use 4 air conditioners with power capacity of 10-12 kW to cool server room with 50 servers. Price of one conditioner - $5000. After virtualization there would be about 20% of all servers(before the virtualization). It means, that only one air conditioner is demanded.
