A recent article in Network World written by Editor in Chief John Dix provides a lot of details about how LinkedIn builds and manages its datacenters. One interesting finding in the article is that LinkedIn relies on 100,000+ high-density servers from Supermicro in its operations which replaced previously used Cisco UCS equipment.
