Supermicro’s Superstorage Server (SSG) systems range features design optimized for enterprise-class mission-critical storage applications. Innovative features of SuperStorage include the “Simply-Double Design”, All-Flash NVMe Arrays, dual-path 12Gb/s SAS backplanes.
The SuperStorage systems support hot-pluggable SAS and SATA hard drives as well as solid state and NVMe drives with the option to expand capacity by using the JBOD enclosures. The SuperStorage systems come equipped with either hardware RAID controllers or Host Bus Adapters running at 6Gbs/ and 12Gb/s speeds.
SuperStorage products are available in single and dual-socket configurations, allow up to 2TB of DDR4 memory and provide room for up to 90 disk drives in 4U chassis.
