INTEL SSD P/N New Naming Rule

You are here:
< Back

In order to solve the FW mixing issue, Intel SSD P/N has changed the naming rule. The new Intel SSD P/N will add 2 digits at the end to identify the firmware version, as well as firmware details on description that you can find in price list. In SAP system, you might find 2 similar P/Ns.  As you can see below, the new version added “01” at the end of the part number, which means the version of firmware is 01. The firmware details you may find in price list, as shown below.

**Very important information: we don’t use the old P/Ns for new Intel SSD models (P4500/P4600/S4500/S4600). When you apply order related document or CQ, make sure you use the new part numbers in all systems.  If you are not sure, please check the price list first.
